About
Chimène and Rodrigue are madly in love. Like Romeo and Juliet, their destiny is thwarted by their respective families. We are in the midst of a story of flesh and blood: passion, revenge and betrayal bring our emotions to a climax in this epic play.
This is Castile, where ‘honour is duty, love is pleasure’. Our two young heroes will prove to us, through their cries, tears, sacrifices and courage, that love is the cure for all our ills.
