The Diary of a Madman
Whose fool are we?

In a remote province of Russia, a young Petersburg con artist is mistaken for a General Inspector (a “Revizor”). The Governor and local notables attempt to cover up the disastrous state of their city and corrupt this stranger to win his favor.
This jubilant comedy about corruption and deception is brought to life by 7 brilliant artists and has already surpassed 150 performances.
Following successes like Faust, Le Roman de Monsieur Molière, and Le Double, The Ranelagh is thrilled to welcome director Ronan Rivière and his team back with this witty and bittersweet hit!
