In the pretty Ranelagh theatre, here is a play of great quality.
Firstly because it's Marivaux!
Then there's the staging: the set is simple but sufficient, and the play is staged in superb period costumes, moving from the classical to the unexpected in a show that's always on the move and never dull. And last but not least, the actors are all perfect in their roles and seem to take great pleasure in being there. As did I that evening, and by the time the play was over, I could have done with a bit more...
You won't be disappointed!
