What is the unfailing, powerful and mysterious bond between mother and son?

Christiane invites her son Stéphane to her home for lunch. But as always, the tension is extreme. Reproaches fly and bitterness reigns. Once again, the meal becomes a battlefield. And the criticisms are weapons that wound... the soul. Even if the wicked humour serves as an escape route.

Their different ways of thinking create discord. One's clumsiness, the other's raw sensitivity, the interweaving of paradoxes... They don't seem to understand each other any more.

Exceptional performance in aid of A FORCE d'ENVIES

«A Force d'Envies» welcomes women in remission from breast cancer and organises stays where yoga, physical activity, ayurvedic massages, body expression and theatre workshops are offered as part of a holistic approach. The aim is to restore women's confidence in their physical and psychological abilities, so that they can become active players in their own recovery.

The association's team will open the evening at 7.30pm, This was an opportunity to point out that breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women (i.e. 50,000 new cases a year - the number one cancer among women) and to listen to the testimonials of women who have taken advantage of these stays.

Le Ranelagh follows since 2017 A force d'Envies by donating all ticket sales from this performance to the association with the support of the artists on stage.
