Back in Paris, he tried to break into the cabaret La Belle Jambe, where he met the beautiful American Jenny Fever ...
Love at first sight, chases, crooks, fishmongers, ostriches and a whole host of other encounters follow, all of which he doesn't expect, and neither do we!

Somewhere between a musical anthem from the interwar period and a rollicking opera Bouffe, four actors, singers and musicians perform some twenty songs from the period in a dizzying array of characters. Come and applaud this candid, clumsy anti-hero, who is deeply engaging and human.
