Press coverage

LE FIGARO «Ronan Rivière impresses as the schizophrenic who has mentally built himself a castle in Spain and, what's worse, thinks he actually lives there».»

FRANCE INTER «The text seems to have been written yesterday. Olivier Mazal's piano performance of Prokofiev's pieces is a perfect match for Gogol's work.»

LE JOURNAL DU DIMANCHE ★★★ «The director has adapted The Diary of a Madman with great accuracy, [...] giving this madman a radiant vision. For in Gogol, beneath the grotesque always lies the sublime.»

FRANCE MUSIQUE «A very nice show.»

OUEST FRANCE «The adaptation is magnificently successful. It's a joyous moment while keeping us on the edge of madness.»

L'HUMANITÉ «This short story, written in 1834, blows a wind of madness that begs to be shared.»
