Un Fil à la Patte

Georges Feydeau's sexiest comedy!

About

In order to marry a rich heiress, Bois d'Enghein does everything he can to get rid of his mistress: a café-concert singer, Lucette Gautier. From cowardice to lies, he sinks into an inextricable situation, leading Feydeau to summon a host of comical and offbeat characters.

One of the masterpieces of vaudeville, Feydeau displays the full extent of his genius, combining situational comedy with the burlesque of his characters.

Une mise en scène enlevée, des acteurs pleins d’énergie. Un excellent moment avec Feydeau.

I'd already seen Le fil à la patte at the Comédie Française, and it was brilliant. Here, the lack of scenery was made up for by the energy and talent of each actor, 1h45 of great entertainment without the audience catching its breath. Well done to the actors.

On one minor point, as the director of a company, I think it's a shame that you don't take 5 minutes at the end to introduce yourself and chat with the audience. I saw your play in Draveil (91).
