Misunderstandings and laughter in Russia!
Pascal Amoyel, an internationally renowned pianist and Victoire de la Musique award winner, has received a Grand Prix du Disque from the Chopin Society in Warsaw for his complete recording of Chopin’s Nocturnes.
Chopin wrote a piano method that has largely been forgotten over time, even among pianists. Using Chopin’s own writings and insights, Pascal Amoyel recreates a masterclass experience as Chopin might have given to his students.
