A piano lesson with Chopin

The latest creation by celebrated pianist Pascal Amoyel!

About

Pascal Amoyel, an internationally acclaimed pianist and winner of a Victoire de la Musique, was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque in Warsaw by the prestigious Société Chopin for his complete recording of Chopin's Nocturnes.

Did you know that Chopin wrote a piano method that is virtually forgotten today, even by pianists themselves?
Based on his writings and words, Pascal Amoyel imagines an expert and sensitive reading of Ballade No. 1... a masterclass in Chopin as he used to give it to his pupils!

THE WORLD « The First Ballad Chopin's music seems, under his fingers, to stem from the child's delight at the enchantment of sound and the adult's struggle against his inner demons. Like Christian Fromont's delicately staged performance, this tormented page seduces like a fantasy, mixing fantasy and the fantastic». Pierre Gervasoni Daté 24 December
